The copper business in China is keeping its importance due to scarce of raw material and increasing demand following the economic booming. Shanghai Dachang Copper Industry Co., Ltd. ("Dachang") was established in December,1996 as a Sino-America joint venture to seize the arising opportunities.

    Dachang has staff strength of approximately 380 and the management staff is only of 20 persons with more than 15 years of experience in this line.Dachang's business is active both in domestic market and international trade. Approx. 25,000 tons of material including copper blister and copper scraps are having been imported from oversea suppliers.

    Dachang's annual output of 65,000 tons Copper Cathodes comes from its 58,800 square-meters refinery works located at Jiading District, nearby Shanghai. Dachang's main products, TIGER brand Electrolytic Copper Cathodes has been registered and listed in Shanghai Futures Exchange for physical delivery. Dachang's cathodes are having been used by wide range of copper products producers in East China and have won its high reputation.
